My name is Bob Kiss of the One America Charity Ride. I conceived this event to celebrate my 60th birthday and at the same time highlight charities that exist across our nation. The ride was a three month cross country bicycle ride. Along the way, we were able to bring attention to the exceptional work of selected charities that improve the lives of fellow Americans and our world-wide neighbors.
The ride commenced on February 11, 2018 in San Diego, California and finished on May 6, 2018 at Liberty State Park in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty.
As we made our way across our country, we devoted segments of the ride to specified charities, raising awareness to their mission and seeking donations. Many of the charities were identified at the start of the ride and others were added along the way as we learned the needs of the communities we pass through.
It was our hope that by bringing awareness to the generosity of the American Spirit we can be reminded that there are more causes that unify us through our common humanity than those which divide us.
Though the ride is over, we still invite you to look through the charities we represented and donate.
